Day 6

Today David gave two hours of lectures on the power of God, the Gospel and what is required of us to follow Him. It was powerful as you would expect. He basically told many stories from his 26 years of ministry and what he learned from them. It was very challenging. Joy and I spent time on the beach today talking and praying together. The school schedule has many times when we are to spend time seeking God. In fact every Friday everyone is supposed to be alone with God all day from 9am to 5pm. That's gonna be stretching! But we are all very excited for it because that is what it's all about. David said that his life radically changed and his ministry really began taking off when he committed significant time during his week to seeking God.

Yesterday all the guys and girls got together separately and talked for 2 hours about life and ministry. To kick it off the guys did exercises. It was quite humorous to see all these Steiger guys with crazy hairstyles and clothes doing stretches and jumping jacks and running in place in unison.

Today Joy and I went to the supermarket and I bought a spread called "Snickers Spread". Its chocolate, peanut butter and caramel. Yum!
